Week 2: Phone App Progression

Vasyl

Updated: Jun 18, 2024

Phone App will read the current time on the phone and send it to Arduino [7]. The Custom Mode virtual screen has been implemented [8]. The user can input start, end time, and blinds level [9]. This gets saved to global variable as a string. Each input is saved as: 00:00-00:00-00 (Start Time, Stop Time, Blinds Level) [10].

Each function of the app was tested again. At the start of the video, the LEDs flash due to Arduino receiving current time from the phone. Custom mode shows two random timers being set up and displayed on the screen.

The timers can be selected, but delete function has not been implemented yet. The app currently does not save the user timers on the phone and will be implemented in the near future, where the user inputs will be saved to phone memory in order to retrieve it when Custom mode is selected.
