Added Bluetooth communication to the system, allowing the ambient room light to be sent to the system in the blinds. System is communicating properly and measured values from the ambient sensor are being stored in an array for future use. The ambient sensor will take measurements periodically, and send them to the main system, but only when certain criteria is met will those values be used to adjust the blinds.
The system is receiving power from the battery, and is remaining powered on while the battery is being charged, however an issue occurred with the step up circuit, where the same voltage is coming through both the Vin and Vout terminals. 3.7V were being sent through the circuit, but 3.7V would come from the output.
The possible solutions are to either get another step up converter and see if it will work, or to use a power bank that has a 5V out, and skip that step entirely. Either way parts are on order and the dimensions would need to be adjusted for the 3D housing.
